Already Gone Launches in NYC, and more to come!

This weekend, team ASP and authors from Already Gone: 40 Stories of Running Away gathered in the Upper West Side to celebrate the launch of our 23rd title. It was a night of literary excitement and excellence. Authors Kathleen McKitty Harris, Emily James, Matt Cantor, Aubrey Hirsch, and Lilly Dancyger gave incredible readings that embodied the spirit of flight and transformation. From a story of an astronaut’s journey of grief to a vibrant retelling of the biblical tale of Lot’s wife to pensive and humorous essays on the desire to break free of family and everyday life, the full talent of the Already Gone authors was on display.

“It was such a treat to celebrate this book and its remarkable NYC-area authors in person!” Said editor Hannah Grieco, who read from the anthology’s introduction. “I can’t wait to feature our DC writers in December!”

Speaking of DC, if you didn’t make it to New York, don’t fear! A second book launch in our home base of Bethesda, MD will be held at The Writer’s Center on December 2nd. Join us at 7 PM to hear exciting readings from Deesha Philyaw, Amber Sparks, Zach Powers, Matt Barrett, Michael B. Tager, and DeMisty D. Bellinger. And if you can’t wait until December, you can order your copy of Already Gone now! Available from our website.
