ASP at Booth 3018, AWP 2024

There’s less than a month left until the AWP 2024 conference in Kansas City, Missouri. As you decide what panels you’ll attend, where you’ll wander in the bookfair, and what writers you absolutely can’t miss, make sure to add ASP to your itinerary!

To kick off the conference, join us at our reading on Wednesday, February 7th at 7 PM. Tired from your travels? Never fear. The reading will take place in the Bennie Moten room inside the Kansas City Marriott. Listen to incredible readings from our 2023 titles without leaving the conference hotel! James J. Patterson will read from Junk Shop Window: Essays on Myth, Life, and Literature, and Lily Dancyger, Caroline Macon Fleischer, K. C. Mead-Brewer, Ellen Birkett Morris, Aurelio Sans, and Hanahah Zaheer will read from Already Gone: 40 Stories of Running Away.

Catch Already Gone editor Hannah Grieco at the “Centering the Margin: Editors on Editing Anthologies” panel on Thursday, Feb. 8 at 12:10 PM in Room 2211. Along with Khem K. Aryal, Casie Dodd, Emily Jalloul, and Remi Recchia, she will share the ins and outs of editing an anthology and getting it published. There will be a book signing immediately after the panel at the ASP booth. You can also find Hannah at the Black Lily & Rinky Dink Press Zine Reading at The Rino (314 Armour Rd North, Kansas City MO).

When you have time to wander the bookfair, make sure to stop at ASP’s booth, #3018. Grab a book you’ll love (and get it signed), learn about the ASP Bulletin, and chat with our wonderful staff. We can’t wait to see you there!
