ASP resumes its series of occasional salons with this special event. James J. Patterson reads from his new essay collection, “Junk Shop Window: Essays on Myth, Life, and Literature,” and Katherine Williams reads from her new poetry collection, “Still Life.” Discussion led by ASP co-founder Rose Solari. Our topic is The Creative Leap: What drives us to make art? What is particularly nourishing, valuable, or necessary in the creative act? Doors open at 2:30 pm,  the presentation begins at 3:00. There will be drinks and nibbles.
