“The Shape of Memoir is an intimate exploration of personal narrative. Think of it as an exercise in personal archeology. We’ll look at your stories about self, family and friends through a poetic, fiction and nonfiction lens and discuss and experiment with the many possibilities for sharing your work with others. Individual direction on your memoir-based projects will also be provided. Participants will receive writing prompts and exercises as well as an opportunity to work in and personalize at least one of their chosen forms and receive feedback if desired.”

The class will consist of (4) 2-hour zoom sessions. (Saturday–Sunday, 10am–12pm (lecture/writing exercise), 2pm–4pm (reading work produced and discussion) PST
