Hello and welcome back, dear readers to another exciting installment of our monthly Most Anticipated! On this marvelous March morning, we have over 95 magnificent LGBTQIA+ titles to share with you. From murder mysteries to magic and myth, we’ve got everything in the middle and more. Mmmm… Did you catch all the alliteration? 😋 😅 Here are some of our featured picks for this month with alliterative titles:
- This nostalgic and reflective memoir on growing up queer and South Asian American in West Virginia.
- This historical fiction novel about a 17th century Algonquin woman caught between her feelings for another woman and the forces of colonial violence.
- A non-fiction book exploring the author’s thoughts on their body—“a nonbinary body, a trans body, a body in two races–and a body continually in discovery.”
- A thrilling murder mystery set in 1946 Phoenix, Arizona, taking place right under the nose of a famed private investigator.
- This sapphic horror debut novel, which puts the dark in dark academia, about two girls summoning monsters on the campus of their ultra-competitive school.
- This YA fantasy novel about two non-binary teens whose lives are forever changed after they are pulled into a magical world under a lake.
- This honest and humorous YA book about a teen who discovers and figures out her place in the world of asexuality.
- A charmingly illustrated picture book about family and missing a parent, telling the story of a young girl who stays home with Mama when her Mommy goes off on a work trip.
- This collection of poetry with poems described as “a piercing lyric ferocity,” touching on themes of immigration, violent heartbreak, and bodily transition.
- A book of poems critically examining female queerness through the lens of a first-generation child of immigrants.
- This autobiographical manga diary about the author’s journey to find love, happiness, and ultimately the lesbian wedding of her dreams.
