Congratulations are in order for ASP’s very own Katherine E. Young whose work as a translator continues to wow the world as much as her original poetry. The Pushkin House residency in London is as prestigious as it is competitive, with numerous applicants judged by a panel of legendary Russian translators and writers. During her residency, Katherine E. Young will be working closely alongside Russophone poet Iya Kiva in order to produce an English language translation of her poetry collection, People of the Donbas.
ASP celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with works by Japanese-American poet and writer, Linda Watanabe McFerrin. The two poems and one essay below are featured in her Legacy Collection, Navigating the Divide.
