David Yezzi’s most recent books of poems are Birds of the Air, and, Black Sea, both from Carnegie Mellon. His verse play, Schnauzer, is forthcoming later this year from Exot Books. He is chair of the Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins and editor of The Hopkins Review.
Liz Hazen is a poet whose work has appeared in Best American Poetry, Southwest Review, Threepenny Review, and other journals. Her first book is Chaos Theories.
David Beaudouin, native to Baltimore, is a widely published poet and performer and the founder of Tropos Press, Inc. (1976-2001), one of the region’s most respected alternative literary presses, as well as THE PEARL (1980-2001), a Baltimore journal of the literary and “spontaneous” arts. Published works include Ten Poems (1973), Gig (1976), Catenae (1989), Ode to Stella (1990), American Night (1992), and Human Nature (1995).
Clare Banks is an associate editor for Smartish Pace. A 2014 recipient of a Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award, her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in B O D Y, Squaw Valley Review, and The Hopkins Review, among others.
